Laura Lechner Valenzuela

Hi, I’m Laura Valenzuela—a New York–based multimedia producer, editor, and social media manager with more than a decade of experience crafting video, podcast, and digital content. I specialize in authentic, visually driven storytelling and bring a full-spectrum skill set to every project, from concept and scripting to directing, editing, and final delivery.

I currently lead social strategy for the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, creating video, photography, and editorial content that brings the museum’s mission and programming to life across platforms.

My client and production work spans arts and cultural institutions, nonprofits, universities, and mission-driven organizations. I’ve produced content for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, Columbia University, Harvard Business School, the Sierra Club, and PBS—always with a focus on clarity, creativity, and connection.

I also photograph events and weddings, capturing meaningful moments with a candid, documentary-style approach, and I continue to produce and direct independent short films. You can find a selection of my narrative work at lauralechner.com.
